This policy explains what information Oubre Realty, LLC (“Oubre Realty,” “we,” “us”) collects through www.oubrerealty.com and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a real estate brokerage based in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you enter:
Every question except your email and phone number is optional. You can also call or email us instead of using a form.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts. On the guide pages, your browser stores a small note (in “local storage”) so you don’t have to fill out the form again; you can clear it by clearing your browser data. On the Buyer Information Sheet, your answers are kept only in that browser window (in “session storage”) so a reload or misclick doesn’t lose them; they are erased when you submit the form, choose “Start over” or close the window. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
We use questions about financing, military status and home features only to help you with benefits, timing and logistics. We never use them to decide which neighborhoods or homes to show you.

We may also share information when you ask us to, for example with a lender, closing attorney or another agent involved in your transaction, or when the law requires it.
If you check the text-consent box on one of our forms, Oubre Realty, LLC may text you from (757) 703-3770 about your home search, including new listings, showing times and follow-ups. Consent is not a condition of working with us.
We do not share or sell your mobile number, text-messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only exception is the service provider that delivers our messages (Quo), which handles them on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
We keep your information for as long as we are working with you, and afterward for the periods Virginia real estate regulations require for brokerage records. If you never became a client, you can ask us to delete your information at any time. We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this site and access-controlled business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive financial details, like account numbers, through our forms.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. Whether or not that law applies to a business of our size, we honor similar requests from everyone. You can ask us to:
